Sensi Seed, Super Skunk®, 3 Seeds, Feminized
Super Skunk Feminized is a cannabis strain that has won numerous awards and accolades since its introduction in the 1990s.
Super Skunk is the result of crossing Skunk #1 with an Afghani from the hashish family. The 80% Indica and 20% Sativa blend provides a relaxing effect complemented by an uplifting high.
This feminized version of Super Skunk simplifies cultivation, as growers don't have to identify or remove the male plants. Therefore, it is a good option for beginners.
The seeds produce an extremely uniform plant that grows to an average height during the flowering phase. The plants are vigorous and conical and can usually be harvested at the same time and at the same height, making things easier for growers.
Super Skunk Feminized has a relatively short flowering time of a maximum of 50 days. It's well-suited for indoor cultivation and for those who desire two or even three harvests per year. As the flowers grow, they grow very quickly. They multiply so rapidly that you can see a change from one day to the next. The buds have a striking light green color, are pointed, and feature large, tapered calyxes.
Growers can expect large yields, even with little experience.
The Skunk family was originally developed as a good option for indoor cultivation; Super Skunk Feminized is an excellent example of the success of these efforts. However, this doesn't mean the plants have to be grown indoors. In Mediterranean climates, Super Skunk Feminized also thrives outdoors. It's also suitable for greenhouses. Under these conditions, it's not uncommon for plants to grow as tall as small trees, especially if the summer is long and warm.
Skunk strains typically emit a strong odor (hence the name). Super Skunk Feminized has a softer, fruitier aroma. The Afghani heritage comes through with earthy, spicy base notes that are particularly strong during the flowering period. Indoors, this smell intensifies before harvest.
Once cured, the buds emit a softer version of the original smell, which is also reflected in the taste. The sweet citrus note perfectly complements the warmer earthy notes.
